Birthday Bunny!

Just a quick post to show you a bunny my lovely hubs bought me for my Birthday a couple of weeks ago.  Isn't he smart...I had quite a shock when he came out of this huge box.....I was not expecting that!!  My hubby knows I am mad about decorating the house for the seasons, so when he saw this bunny needed a home he couldn't resist!  Now I have him I don't have the heart to put him away in the loft, we thought if we keep him out all year we can put away the carrots and fill his basket with Halloween goodies and then pop a Santa hat on him!!  Silly aren't I, but that's me :0)

I'm thinking of calling him Thumper...what do you think?

What I've been up to!

Hello everyone!
After 4 hectic months, I finally have an update for you!  So sorry for not posting since Christmas, everything has been rather busy, yet very exciting!

First of all, I'd like to say happy Spring! The weather here in Devon is noticeably improving (apart from the odd spot of rain!) and it's lovely that the weather is getting that little bit warmer.

Here are some little previews of what I've been up to...
For New Year, I went to New York with my husband and daughter. I have to say it was without a doubt the most amazing experience of my life! We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days and loved every single minute of it!

My daughter and I stood by the Wollman ice rink in Central Park; one of my highlights of the trip!

Next up, here is our kitchen update.  Hopefully you will prefer how it looks 4 months on!
We are so pleased with how the kitchen is looking, a real transformation! It is not 100% complete as we still have a few little bits to finish, like painting cupboards etc.

(I will be writing some further blog posts about these in more detail!)

Finally, thought I'd show you my Easter decorations for this Spring.  It is such a lovely time of year and I have collected loads of lovely Easter deccies over the years!

My fabric chicken came out for the second year running!

Hope you have enjoyed reading this quick update and I'll be back with more posts soon.

Hugs, Charlotte xx
